Christianity - For the Record

OK, I think I got it. Mohammed and the muslim conquests had nothing to do with religion. That's why muslims today will kill you for drawing him in a cartoon.

There is nothing quite like making over simplistic comments like that to avoid understanding what's really going on.

This thread is funny but cautionary. The hard left actually is able to delude itself into believing this stuff. Then we get timid candidates like McCain and Romney who are afraid to call out an obama on his radicalism, and the next thing you know, we have a crazy man who hates everything our country stands for trying to destroy us.

The funny thing here is, rather than being able to address the actual topic of the thread, as pathetic as it is, you can only drift off into making simple minded political remarks.

I don't know what country you mean by "our country", but yes it's cautionary! Thousands of years of history shows how any country that thinks prosecuting war or attacking others on grounds of religion, christian, islam or whatever, is basically fkd.

"If Romans were christians then yes, for the record, christians certainly did start it."

That "if" eats the whole point.

For the record... the Roman Empire was not Christian when it reached its greatest extent in the 1st century.

So for 700 years up to the first crusade, when the christian Roman Empire perpetuated its colonization of Arab/jewish land, the christian Roman Empire was not christian.:D

Perhaps you have forgotten that Rome had conquered and ruled over the Jewish Holy land. Just so you know, Jews were the first Christians.

So what!? Why are you responding with that to me exactly? Nothing there that I haven't already pointed out.

Christian jews? Lol. One religion saying it is also another religion, is simply another religion again.

Basic fact is, Rome conquered and ruled in Arab lands over Arabs of which many if not most followed one jewish religion or another.

Of which you say christian jew was one of them:D

Do you have any kind of a relevant point at all or are you just vying for the title of Obscure off of Jem?

its pretty funny when a guy trolls nothing but detritus. We present facts and timelines proving his stuff to be garbage and he comes back and says the people presenting the facts are obscure and now redfining rome as Christian Jews.

Stu is using some sort of nustupid nuspeak.

Yeah, you are correct that I shouldn't respond to you because you are clearly too stupid to comprehend it.

Oh no please, no need to be so modest. The stupid is all yours by the utterly meaningless posts you're making.

The upshot of this thread's opening and amazingly ridiculous so called thesis is, christians didn't start anything.

Of course christians didn't start anything :D

Christians didn't start anything even after the Roman Empire declared itself christian 300 years before Islam was even dreamed up , continuing with the same colonization, occupation and conflicts against Persians, jews and anyone else whose dynasties had previously been successfully prospering there for thousands of years.

So ET's religious trolling loon in chief starts yet another thread, this time trying to exonerate christians from their own atrocities to blame it all on muslims for theirs, when in reality it was not about religion in the first place.

Six of one and half a dozen of the other. Whatever.
Facts show, history shows; religion gets involved, then the whole job will get totally fucked up.

Apparently there is no legitimate thesis the trolls from the Troll Content Creation Team could develop so now Stu comes out with the same... no thesis / thesis that db was attempting.
When proven to be lying trolls... trolls go to page 8 and 9 of the troll playbook.

page 8 - misstate the others argument

page 9. when having no factual support or you are caught ying about them... just make garbage noises and write disparaging remarks about religion... unless religion is involved then disparage Christianity.

Let's be honest. All you've done is prove once again it is not unusual for the religiously handicapped like yourself to be unable to address or understand anything that questions or counters another highly biased religiously motivated article you've pulled from a catholic website.

Already noted. Conflict in the Middle East didn't start as religious wars between christians and muslims as neither had been invented.

Jesus and Mohammed are the later affectations by which some easily impressionable people make their excuses.
As you clearly demonstrated.

Sort of like banging on a very thick door. As far as Jem the Obscure is concerned, the world didn't begin until the 7th century.
