I just named it. The last congressional elections. When you have a President, most of the issues tend to go in the direction of the President's party. That's especially so when the Senate is ALSO of the President's party. So what? Was the same under Bush. Big deal. When that changes, so will the sway of the issues.

Furthermore, if you think America will "prevail" with no check on spending, then you're as big an idiot as some of your rivals here make you out to be.

That's a good point. The Gun Control issue certainly wasn't/isn't being won by the President or the Left.

As for the sequester cuts, we'll see. The idiots in the GOP might yet fold on that one.
