Chris Christie Steam rolls another Obama Zombie.

Quote from Lucrum:

Not a bad idea, while we're at it we should include affirmative action, welfare, border security, ID requirement for voting, term limits, the Canadian Pipe line, bringing home the troops, tax code simplification and adding the other half of Americans that don't pay income taxes to the tax rolls.

Our republic certainly isn't working out too well, maybe we should give pure democracy a try.

Excellent.

Don't forget gay marriage. They had a referendum in California on it of course, and when the left lost, they ran to a homo federal judge who ruled banning gay marriage was unconstitutional. Same thing with a referendum there on denying welfare benefits to illegal aliens.

Liberals are all for democracy except when they lose. Then they rely on the courts.

Yes, although McCain is neither a conservative or a good debater.

McCain owned Romney and the rest of the GOP field in debates in 08.He did well against Bush also

Quote from Tsing Tao:

Obama is waaay to thin skinned to ever be able to take on Christie. It would really be an unfair match up.

Obama would own Christie, and Christie knows it.It is an unfair match up,which is why Christie avoided it

mcain sucked in the debates... he looked weak the whole time. he was exposed for not even being good on foreign policy... his supposed expertise. he just bumbled and made mistakes.

he had no backbone in the debates and it showed when he was the nominee.

his only point.. he made over and over was he was a war hero.
(for getting shot down by the way)

obama's has never faced a conservative, with real ideas in a debate. he faced McCains tired sell out neocon crap. (yes i know that may happen again.)

Quote from rew:

The basic issue is whether children should be raised by homosexuals. I wouldn't have wanted to have two gay fathers or two lesbian mothers, so, no, I don't favor homosexual marriage.

There is some talk in the media that young people are in favor of gay marriage moreso than older people. Now if you ask these young people if it would be okay if their younger brother or sister were to be raised by gay couples, their answer is no. They want them to have a mom and a dad.If you ask these young people if for some reason they should die would it be okay with them to have their children raised by a gay couple or relatives (if that's the case) the answer again in no.

So while the young people are favorable towards gay marriage when it comes down to the nitty gritty, they back down.

This will never change, we have already reached critical mass, whereby the useless tits voting on it have enough power to maintain their position permanently... The only hope we have to fix this would be responsible politicians who dont care about being re-elected. (which is an oxymoron) There is no way that the 50% who pay nothing are going to vote for their own taxes to be raised..... :(

Well, that is another discussion altogether. Basic biology tells us that it would be a case of adoption or in-vitro, right? OK, so a man woman with kids, living on welfare, in a trailer, regardless of race or whatever, is better than two healthy, educated and employed individuals? Don't think so.

Oh, and in case you haven't kept up, there are many single parent adoptions and, yes, heaven forbid, gay adoptions and in-vitro. And, the kids are doing great, thanks for asking.

Quote from Brass:

Since the Republicans seem to be so open to the idea of referendums, perhaps there should be one to determine whether or not the rich should pay higher taxes.
