Chris Christie endorses Donald Trump

Yeah thats what i liked about him, he went to battle with the unions in an unscripted environment and stood toe to toe with them time and time again, the guy was probably the best debater/speaker out of all of them, its too bad he never had a chance to begin with.

And for all the bullshit that liberals preach about tolerance, they sure as fuck loved to tee off on him over his weight.
I agree. Christie is a powerful guy. He wasn't given enough credit for battling the public employee unions which is a major issue going forward. I didn't like him for the same reasons I don't like trump - supports NSA spying. But Christie is more good then bad. I think.

That was a different issue. Don't you remember our discussion of his spending, years ago? You were so disappointed that he had deviated from orthodoxy on that point. Then there was the whole hurricane error, where he appeared grateful for national assistance.
Not sure where you see that, but if you can find those posts from me feel free to post them, you may have confused another thought of mine back then when i was arguing against Hurricanes being "Stimulative" for the economy as a whole, but i dont ever remember saying they shouldnt spend the money to rebuild new jersey after hurricane sandy.

Yeah Christie bent alot of his views trying to fit in with the neocons which was something i didnt care for much either, he lost alot of his edge which was that he was genuine when he started contorting his positions to fit with the establishment.

My bad, his spending I'm referring to was before the hurricane. Been a long time since that discussion now. Anyway, didn't his gratitude to Obama prove him to be just another RINO?

In the eyes of some yeah i guess it did, obviously it finished him off, cause he was the one they were begging to run before it happened, I never lost faith in him over that, frankly i thought it was all overblown nonsense, that just goes to show the times we are in, both sides so divided that its considered a cardinal sin to even act respectful to one another.

Well said.

Romney was ahead in some polls before that hug... and then there was about a 5- 7 point shift in a week. Coincidence... perhaps.... It is also possible some polls in the end reasonably may have shifted to 2010 turnout as a model... when 2008 would have been the superior model for that election. But, Christie seemingly abandoning Romney and hugging Obama after being snubbed for VP did not hurt Obama and probably helped him.

I hear people saying that's also why Rand Paul lost - went neocon milquetoast.
