The U.S. has indicted two hackers in China who it says targeted American companies involved in coronavirus research, and stole sensitive information from other companies around the world. The indictment says the hackers, Li Xiaoyu and Dong Jiazhi, worked both for personal profit and to further the goals of China's Ministry of State Security. Fortune
 
China is just a bad actor in the world:

1. Released COVID-19 on the world.
2. Fake accounting practices in publicly traded companies (Luckin Coffee).
3. Organ harvesting.
4. Backing loans with fake gold.
5. Adding sand to bags of corn to cheat buyers.
6. Censorship.
7. Bullshit National Security Law to stifle Hong Kong.
8. Mistreatment of ethnic minorities.
9. Imprisonment of religious minorities.
10. Now, hacking to steal intellectual property.

Shame on China.
 
but the vast majority of it's citzens are better off then they were 30 years ago and actually happy with THEIR gov't. your a foreigner and probably never been to China or ask its' citizens what they think of THEIR country. Trump has only 20% approval rating,,why is he running for re-election.???

Democracy in Hong Kong won't change a damn thing Hong Kong economic decline..and with US withrawing economic free trade status it's further hurt the people of Hong Kong which as 20% unemployment and 20% of the residents living imporvershed dog houses . cause the local gov't and some private capitalist clans controls the housing monopoly in the city.

Hong Kong was like cayman islands in the 1960's awesome place to launder money or trade as it had no tarriffs and no customs and free trading port. and total privacy in it's banking system and no capital gain taxes and sales taxes etc. no income tax in the 1960's and the stock market was no market manipulation and no algos in the exchange. as market manipulation is banned in Hong Kong. exchanges.

what people don't understand is that Hong Kong was the only 'free trade' country in Asia in the 1960's, it's policy was 100% free market capitalis, not regulations, no gov't interference in business or people lives , no welfare etc. only thing gov't was to enforce the criminal laws or rule of law. or national defense. no min. wage etc

crime rampant in US..and mexico failed states. gov't no longer control the streets. thugs and gangs own the streets. back i nthe 1960's gangs and the triad mafia control Hong Kong.

the mafia or gangs in the local level is the gov't that protected citizens from criminals via protection money. there is no protection from the cops in the US or financial regulators. the gov't is part of the criminal racket. and helping the criminals. ripping of the public.

what is happening in the US and some parts of Mexico is anarchy. .not gov't control. in some parts of the country. gangs and thugs own the streets.

you have cops afraid of being killed on the job by gangs and thugs which should be the other way around. etc?

The province produces around 80% of China's cotton, and China supplies around 20% of the world's cotton. Nike says it has made one supplier stop recruiting employees from Xinjiang.
