Of course China wants a peaceful solution... and so do we. But we need NK's cooperation for that don't we?

You think China is putting 150,000 troops on the border of North Korea to combat the US in case it launches a sea based attack? I'm not sure where you studied Military Strategy, but you might want to retake the class.

Its certainly possible,especially with the idiot in The White House.There are many ways we could up on the ground there.If our strikes don't take out there nukes,If N Korea attacks or invades S Korea killing some of the 28,000 troops we have there etc.Even if Trump doesn't plan on putting troops on the ground he could be forced to depending on N Korea's response.

It would take at least a month to put the logistics in place for a ground operation. At least.
And it would entail a huge loss of life on both sides. Its not going to happen.
We are in a stalemate. Nothings going to happen. Trump will save face by appearing to "work" with China.
Kim will have a parade on Saturday(anniversary) and not test his nuke. Thats my prediction.
If he pops a nuke.... I have no idea what Trump will do. A ground war is not an option at this point, and any surgical strike will lead to that no matter how overwhelming the strike.
Like I said....stalemate. More "sanctions" on the way.
