China Warns Trump "It Will Take Off The Gloves"

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-...l-take-gloves-if-he-continues-provoke-beijing

Big problems in little China. Major outflows of Yuan since 2014. Panicked Chinese are desperate to get their money out of Yuan and into foreign assets. China CB selling US Treasuries and buying Yuan.... not working !! Between Trump, the real specter of tariffs, the South Asian Sea dispute (Tillerson drew another hardline....supports confrontation), Taiwan, China's precarious economy, and it's panicked citizens dumping Yuan, we got the table set for a real barn burner !

My prediction is Trump cuts the Chinese off at the knees, economically. Hard to bargain then !!

You seem oblivious to the real dynamics in the world. China is a force regardless of what Trump does. If the world was the way you think it is, Taiwan would be independent already. A real trade war will hit American consumers very quickly where it hurts and send NA stock markets tumbling as companies costs go way up immediately. Your posts will look absolutely silly in 4 years when the reality of how limited Trump's reach is becomes clear. All he can do is shuffle the deck in his own country, his impact outside the borders is extremely limited without severe problems for Americans. The one positive thing he can do is fight greedy corporate America; I remain skeptical he will, he is after all one of the guys in that club.

I give you credit for making a public prediction. I just don't understand why you have to insult people in your posts? If your prediction does not become a reality then what can we call you? Silly? Stupid? Wrong?

Trump's about to take 3 Trillion out of China's hide. Should be a good show eh

I didn't say a trade war will happen, I said it'll be a disaster for everyone involved if it does. Trump makes it a possibility. There is nothing insulting about offering up the opinion that the op doesn't understand world economics and that many of his forecasts and themes concerning Trump will look silly in 4 years. This will be the case for many people, Trump's sold a big story and a lot of people bought it. He's just more vocal and aggressive about it then most.

If I'm wrong about Trump and the US has solved many of their problems in 4 years, as Trump has promised, well, that's going to benefit me too indirectly. I just don't buy the dream at all. And the more fanatical Trump fans who think the whole world will bow down to Trump's will are going to look silly for saying so. Just like those who posted in 2009 that a Great Depression was inevitable and the SPX would revisit 2008/2009 lows again eventually did look silly. Many posters on this site absolutely insisted on those themes in a very aggressive manner.

Grandiose themes that are overly positive or negative about the world often end up that way.
