what does the US precisely export to China except porn movies and fast food chains? Maybe you can enlighten us.
For someone who has lived in Asia for quite a while I can assure you there really is not a whole lot that Chinese or Japanese desire to buy from the U.S. except for some speciality products or products in process. Heck even Intel's or AMD's CPUs are nowadays not manufactured in Malaysia anymore but to a large extent in China.
I never claimed the US is not important to the rest of the world to a more or lesser degree than China or Europe is important to the world.
But claiming others dont understand the topic under discussion while you very obviously fail to comprehend the implications of a TRADE DEFICIT the US has with China makes you look pretty dumb. It simply means the US buys more stuff in nominal value than Chinese from the US, supporting my above point. Second, I claimed, and pointed to statistics that support my claim, that the importance the US plays for China is greatly diminishing relative to what it has been just a few years ago and that other countries take over the US's traditional role as the prime trading partner.
Which point do you still disagree with?
