Can they drop her off and then abandon the airfield like they did in Afghanistan?

And Tigers are some of the few big cats that do well in water. Pelosi is so unpopular in US\ the chicoms must know that, for sure. The chicoms may admire her gun hating\ but she is no Newt Ginrich. Pelosi is real old , much older than Cathie Wood[Ark].....................

Oh she is going but will probably fly in on a low profile non-government/non military plane. If she does not go immediately, she will say that "for security reasons" she will be going to Taiwan soon on an unannounced visit to maintain our important relations with Taiwan." Or some version of that, and why not? She cannot just let the Chinese cancel her visit but it is okay for her to manage the situation as needed, and go as safely as possible. Nobody gonna take points away from her for that. Might even prevent a war. But you gotta actually go soon too.

Chinese will do some serious flyover violations of Taiwan air space. Maybe lob a missile into the sea inside Taiwan space.

This is all about China helping Vlad without getting sanctioned. Xi knows that the Americans are having to make some serious, fine-tuned decisions about how many troops can be committed to Nato and how many weapons can be committed to Ukraine and still be able to deal with China. The answer of course is "not many" - and Xi is piling on to make sure that we hold more back.

Pelosi is on a US air force jet -- not a low-profile commercial flight. Or this plane could be a decoy. We will see.
