China tells U.S. not to meddle in oil deal

As long as they leave Japan, Australia, NZ alone, we're good. Indonesia and Malaysia (both very muslim populations with large amounts of ethic chinese)? Hmmm... might be handy to let them take them over and drown in some of the 'nation building' occupation that we are now having in Iraq.

An easier target would be eastern Russia, with a decimated Russian Army and outdated equipment which can't defend it. However, without any knowledge of the region, I'm not sure if there are any important natural resources in Siberia worth fighting over. Gold? Oil? Titanium? Uranium? I'll let people with more time on their hands check the CIA factbook.

Why, oh why, would the Chinese attack us?
1. They could nuke us and destroy the world with fallout and nuclear winter while getting nuked themselves. Bad idea.

2. They can invade a nation of 350 million gun-loving crazed americans who grew up with movies like 'rambo' and 'red dawn'. That occupation should last, oh, about 300 years.

3. They can... broker a deal and leave us alone. We'll get rich supplying India with arms since they'll be scared senseless. Maybe India might like to annex a few of these bad players in the middle east too? Hmmm...

Close the gap, kiddies.

sounds like a case of wanting to have your cake and eat it too. They should open up their markets ....and free their currency...then they would have the right to complain if the us didn't let the deal go through...

how comes that the USA has 350m people population according to you,why is NZ of any importance(worth mentioning at all),what do you mean by "russian outdated army" - do you mean nuclear warheads are no longer relevant ?

If you agreed US has 350M people(which is wrong. according to U.S. Census it's closer to 290M). And you said 100M kids.

Even by your exaggerated figure 350+100=450M . Not a billion the last time I checked my math.

The Chinese have spent the last 4000 years being invaded and conquered. Historically they have never held on to their territory. They have a huge land mass to hold to. That is what reunification is all about. The last renegade provence is of course Taiwan.

The early part of 20th century the Japanese occupied and dominated Taiwan (as well as mainland China). Japan has a "warriors" history. Just read up on it. The Taiwanese of late have cut deals with Japan. Apparently, they prefer Japan these days instead of the Chinese. Of course, Japan does not plan on occupying them again. The Chinese want it back.

Japan is moving fast toward full militarizing (they have repealed the laws that forbade it). There is a plan afoot. God knows where it is going. You may see Taiwan eventually democratize and run China someday. Especially, if the current political leadership of China makes a wrong move. Most think that the trade deals only benefit the Chinese. Well yes the trade deals do benefit the Chinese ----at first. But the trade deals and the business deals tie China to the system. The whole point of everything we see from the top down in every country (even the US) is to tie people to the system.

They certainly are stroking nationalism in China. The Chinese are definitely concerned about oil supplies. They are also scared to death of our globalist political class (ours meaning Europe and Americas as well). They realize that they are being "ringed off" and surrounded much the same way as Russia. The difference is that China is open for more trade and is becoming more tied to the global system by the hour. Most of what we see on TV about China and all these "special reports" coming out of the pentagon about Chinese military developments etc..etc.. are simply controlled opposition strategies.

The last time I spent any extensive time in China, I'd say "they" (the political leaders) were scared to death of their own people. You should read the story of the warrior gates alongside the emperor's gate into the forbidden City. The Emperor was so terrified of being assassinated by his people and his "friends" that he forbade any of them to enter that long passage with him. It's getting that bad again.

Middle level Chinese professionals asked (in 1997) said that as long as the Central Committee continued to relax restrictions and slowly improve the conditions of the middle class, rebellion could be held off. But there is now too big a divide between the poor and the wealthy and destabilization is almost a sure thing in the next few years. There are sizable riots almost daily even now.
