China overtakes US as world’s richest nation as global wealth surges

Btw, would it be ok for the US when China and/or Russia supplies heavy "defense" weapons to Cuba or other countries around the US?
Ie. such defense things like the S-400, or the Chinese equivalent, for example...
Not?
But then why is the US supplying heavy weapons like fighter jets to Taiwan?...
The law should be valid for all, isn't it?

Correction: The western world for a large part has raised China to its current economic level.

What is the argument here? We are all prisoners of our own time. If you were born black three hundred years ago you were a slave, literally. If you were born jew 100 years ago you were gassed. If you were a native of the new world, you were hunted. If you were white brown yellow and not making ends meet, your family were underprivileged and doomed for generation, with no path to upper class.

My first largest paycheck was made as a young man, unbelievable or not, in Jakarta. After currently the largest bank in US patched me to foreclose a palace hotel owned by the royal family for merely $1.3 million USD after rupiah depreciated 500 percent or more after the Asian financial crisis. Its car garage was constructed in marble, let alone lobby and rooms materials.

When you are not in control of your own destiny, inevitably the system will crash. I see that China, currently PRC, as one of the many dynasties in its history. It was probably the richest country with trade surplus dating back to silk road. Its silk, tea, porcelains were much in demand. PRC may last another few decades, then transition to another authoritarian leadership, same argument, different emperor.

So if the ticket to riches is to go full commie like China, and Biden "is a full fledged Marxist", maybe he's the guy for the job

Yeah you got that right. He is definitely the guy to make china rich with his secret dealings and ties with them.

Don't underestimate the Chinese people who are not shy of voicing their frustration with their government; they do it all the time.

No, I don't underestimate the reserve and the strength of the Chinese people. The problem is their efforts didn't change a thing. They have been fighting for over 5000+ years and today China's political system is still imperial feudalism with absolute power, albeit the one in power is with a different title.

My belief with regards to Taiwan is this:

Xi is only as powerful as the CCP let's him be. If he pushes hard for a Taiwan invasion to make his mark on history, they will weigh the benefit/consequences and, like all conservative organizations, they will opt for a more conciliatory path by removing him from his pulpit, by force if necessary. The risk to the CCP's power and survival on the mainland would be too high should China find itself at war not only with Chinese Taipei, but most of the nation's around China and the world. Their survival is more important than Taiwan today.
However, for this diplomacy to work western nations have to be unequivocal about the consequences of an invasion, and China needs to know with certainty.

Not interested in talking about Taiwan. Way above my paygrade. I am a trader. I am only interested in making a buck. When you make good money, everything goes your way. China is only able to think about Taiwan right now because it's got $$. So much for "peace-loving". LOL

Is anybody preparing to invade Cuba?? No.

China obeying the law? LOL That's the biggest oxymoron that I have ever heard. Look up the word "oxymoron" before you get all offended and pull your "nationalism" shit on me. The word is not what you think it is.

Still does not negate my statement. It's the West who raised China to its current economic level and is still continuing to do so, not the Chinese people and not the CCP. People give CCP way too much credit. LOL

David P. Goldman used to say, the smart people graduated in China went into CCP and managed the China Inc. My two cents is that collision is not very good for the record of the drivers, everyone will try to avoid it.

One thing they don’t believe is that economy can be on autopilot and let the market work. Unlimited QE proves that they are right.

Is anybody preparing to invade Cuba?? No.
But Cuba is economically strangulated with sanctions and embargoes by the US since 1959, since the Cuban Revolution. This is clearly a war, an economic war.
China obeying the law? LOL
Yes, even more than the US.
Or give some real examples. And I then give you twice more counter examples.
