China may have a Lost Decade

Who told you that? Every woman that I have ever known favors an emotionally stable, faithful, consistent, and loving guy to be in relationship with and get married to. Those guys are the textbook opposite of alpha males. Relationships with alpha males almost always end in disaster, divorce, infighting, domestic violence. You must be referring to some 19 year old drunk horny college chicks who are a few standard deviations below the median iq wise...
You need to get up to speed on the current dating scene and red pill movement. Yes, women eventually do settle down with someone, but mark my words, they cheat on him, and are never truly fulfilled. Why do you think so many men complain about lack of sex in a relationship? Its because she doesn't genuinely want him. Women might say they want emotionally stable and consistent, but that is boring for her. She needs her emotions engaged. They say in the manosphere that you can either wait for her to cause shit, and she will, or you can make sure that she is kept emotionally engaged by not trying to be everything for her.

The beautiful thing these days is that women are all over social media purging their guts out and how they really feel. So you don't even need to believe me, you just need to see them say it all themselves.

Either you are in a very damaged marriage or you surround yourself with people of questionable character. I can't agree with you at all. Almost all people we know around us are happily married, have kids and the couple genuinely loves each other. Nothing is perfect but far from the picture you try to paint at least from the circles I traverse in. Turn off that social media bs. You are aware that Facebook caters to what you read and click on, those stories are custom tailored to you and you probably are not even shown other stories anymore.

You mention that Millennials will cause the destruction of America

Do you know any Millennials or later generations? They are the in general more selfless people. Baby boomers and older are selfish as fuck.

Besides, the boomers and older got to grow up with intact families for the most part. We now have close to 40% of all children been born out of wedlock, and that excludes shotgun weddings (which I think are mostly doomed to failure anyway.)

Don't blame those generations for what the boomers did (feminism, destroy families, run up debts, etc.)

Low population growth: at least Japan and China don't immigrate half the world to create a melting pot that never has shown to really work (keyword : silos).

Fair point.

That entrepreneurial spirit is not suffering is shown by China and its number of patent registrations and quickly catching up in almost every area of technology

For the time being, America still innovates much more. America still has better computer technology, better military technology (F-22 trumps J-20), and better software technology. The entrepreneurial spirit is definitely stronger in America (always has been), just because everyone has the necessary freedoms to build a business. America is exceptional and will be better, because of its culture of the American Dream.

Waning competitive edge: if anything then it's exactly the opposite. China is quickly catching up on every technology front. Name me an area where they are falling behind over time.

What I meant by the 'competitive edge' was the cheap labor. It seems other countries are competing with China for labor. With wages rising, and government intervention getting more commonplace, it seems western companies might desire Chinese labor less. Not to mention tariffs and shipping costs as well.

Are you suggesting pyramid schemes and an utterly overpriced American equity market ad property markets are an illusion?

No, I am merely suggesting that Chinese markets are more overpriced than American ones, if risks of government intervention/regulation are put in the picture. Things such as the government banning Didi or taking over the private education companies would be good examples of this.

China won't let its economy collapse. They are much more in control than any western government because they centralize all the powers. The number patent registrations and the pace of innovation in China point to your American dream being far in the past. The only way America can innovate today is by continuing to attract top talent worldwide. This happened with Chinese in the past 20 years. Today hardly any top Chinese researcher or engineer is attracted to the US anymore. I am speaking of the broad picture not individual cases.whete will the US source its top talent from if not from China or India? The few from other nations are a drop in the bucket. I agree that the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in the US and that is pretty much all the US currently has going for itself. But free markets and pure capitalism is a two edged sword. It makes a few extremely wealthy but leaves the grand majority behind as we can all see now. As long as we don't bring manufacturing back we will lose control of supply chains and sourcing raw materials. As long as we don't hold those in power more accountable then what are the democratic rights and freedoms good for? Our voting rights are currently valued at zero cents. Whoever you vote for you can be assured to put either a complete buffoon in power or a retarded senile half dead. What's left is an unhinged elite that bends the rules and makes them up at the same time. If we don't reign in those abuses of power then it will soon be game over.

Fair point.

Its ok, I don't mind that you see it completely differently. These are problems that have come up more so in the last 10 years because of social media, just like you mention. The issues I outline are hitting the young population now. Those people who have been married for a decade or 2 grew up in a totally different time when the dating scene was different. If you talk to women today in their late 20's or early 30's, you would be acutely aware of the problems, but if this isn't the demographic that you interact with, I totally understand how none of this would be on your radar.

Can't view the article as it is behind Bloomberg's paywall, but the statistica link that I posted showed 112.5 and 116.12 female to male ratios for the 20 to 24 and 15 to 19 age groups. Not sure what data Bloomberg uses, but unless you can find a better source that claims otherwise, that's a pretty significant difference.

A relationship favors a beta man because he has access to regular sex, which is always quite difficult for him outside of a relationship. The alpha man is actually hindered by a relationship because his options are constrained by the relationship, not by the lack of options like for the beta. But of course, women don't want beta men, they want the alpha men. These days, women generally favor the qualities of the alpha men, not so much the beta.

There are of course far more beta man out there, so if the women truly wanted to get married, they have lots of options. But sadly, women don't want any of these guys, they only want the ones they can't get, the ones they have to compete for, and the ones who will only use them and toss them. This whole idea of the Peter Pan syndrome is a female tactic used to shame men since the women are clearly mad that they aren't getting what they want.

Instead of shaming men, we should be shaming women for their never ending quest to settle for nothing but the best. Imagine 100% of the women chasing the top 5% of men, and they all think they are entitled to him! LOL

Interesting post. I don't really see it as alpha vs. beta, but instead attractiveness (physical is a component). Both men and women are attracted to people who have attractive qualities. Women tend to favor hypergamy / status, men tend to favor physical attributes. If we're going to shame women for their never ending quest of setting for nothing but the best, then at least they are attempting to settle. A lot of men just want to sleep around and never settle. We value novelty and tend to get bored. But if all a person wants is sex and they are able to acquire it easily, then yes, no need to bind oneself in a committed relationship...why buy a cow when you can get the milk for free. The problem with saying "top 5% of men" is that a lot of the MGTOW community views people as a commodity / product and feels entitled to dating any woman they see as being equal to or lower than their status. The problem is that status is completely subjective and you'll never be able to argue your way to a date.

Do you know any Millennials or later generations? They are the in general more selfless people. Baby boomers and older are selfish AF.

Baby boomers did not grow up wanting to be social media influencers or have only fans pages. They seem far less narcissistic and selfish compared to the Millennials and more recent generations.

Is that their fault, or is it the parents' fault?
