Chinese leadership is usually practical. They will inevitably have the wotld’s largest economy and millitary. It will not be long before we will be courting their favor.
Next, we need to normalize relations with Russia. In time, Ruusia, with all of its resources and underutilized land, may start feeling uncomfortable with the massively industrialized, heavily populated, and practical country on their southern border.
We share a historic European heritage with the Russians and are more likely to get along with each other long term than with China. Russia and the United States need to get their collective fingers out of their asses first.
Even better would be mutual cooperation among the three major powers. Such cooperation would likely accelerate our development as a species or at least ensure our short term survival. Additionally, with the big three working together for a change, smaller countries may be more likely to cooperate with the world community. The key would be for the big three to not act like bullies.
We need to get the arms manufacturers to focus on infrastructure for space exploration instead of weapons and “stirring up the geopolitical pot”.
