China cuts tariffs of non-American imports

I thought it was a brilliant move by China honestly. They're artificially imposing tariffs on American goods by easing those of the competition. Trump threatened retaliation if further tariffs were imposed, this way they can claim no tariffs

A lot of German cars are build in the US, and I think there are tariffs already.

Some of the parts are made overseas, the vehicle is assembled in USA. An import tariff should apply to all imported parts. Fair trade ...

Some of the parts in American cars are made overseas and some American cars are made "overseas" as well, in Canada and Mexico. That's how it's done nowadays. Drumpf still thinks its 1952.
