As for 'stealing ' US patents are not valid in other countries if there is no WTO..the US patent office has no jurisdiction or power outside of US jurisdiction, and vast majority of US patents FDA patents is gov't controlled racket monopoly forcing other private companies or consumers to pay them a consumer 'tax' on some BS patent okay

as for 'stealing' you don't own the idea music own the 'invention' okay!

the US patent office is scam anyways. now. you have lawyers hijacking on patents ip squatting and using the legal system to extort money from companies for alledged 'ip theft' pffff using the gov't mafia courts.

cheap labor used to be the only advantage... but after almost 20 years of IP transfer China has caught up a lot, to the point they can compete in many areas other than the labor.

the root of the problem is the non enforcement of the WTO rules... so the western companies had to get the foot in the door and give up IP before the competition.. and no politicians before trump had any political will.

If there was no intellectual property then I wouldn’t start any business and I wouldn’t get involved in trading. And so everyone else wouldn’t have a reason to create any intellectual property.
Just look how much of any “non-owned” intellectual property was created in China and why they have to steal it - because they don’t have any reason to create it since it would be immediately stolen.
Everyone’s soul, ambition, ego and personal goals are based only on their intellectual property. Humans without intellectual property are nobodies who work for people who create, own and value their intellectual property. If someone can simply take/steal my thoughts then I don’t have a reason to live. I don’t want to just vegetate and provide value for people who steal the only thing I have - my creative ability, so they can profit off of me.
Intellectual property is what makes up your soul. Without intellectual property you have no soul and no individual thought.

Btw, I moved to the US only because of my ability to create, value, protect and prosper from my intellectual property. I was living in a country where people didn’t own anything and didn’t need to work, just collect social welfare, while no one was creating any value. I came to US because it’s the greatest country in the world thanks to its intellectual property.
And btw, my wife is Chinese and half of my family is in China. They all want to come to the US because they also get tired of theft, including theft of their intellectual property, and theft in general.
They’re afraid to buy Chinese powdered milk for their babies and have to import it from the US, because Chinese factories don’t value anything and don’t value people. They will mix-in cheap crap into food and don’t care about endangering others. They don’t care about anyone or anyone’s property. They only want to steal and profit off of each other with no moral barriers.

as I said before, if trump really wants to win the trade war with china, he needs to unite with allies, and negotiation becomes developed countries vs. china, instead US vs. china. but trump is a business man, has no sense of international politics. he only cares about money. so he opens the trade book, and use magnifier to search who has trade surplus with USA. immediately, he opens fire against all allies. around the globe, trump found there is only one man who has no trade surplus with USA, that is, the rocket man of north korea.

it may look like trump gains a little bit enforcing tariffs on allies, but USA loses much more since the allies will not cooperate with USA on china issue. Actually it is in their interest if china and USA escalate the fight.
