It is an interesting idea but it is not a bus, it is clearly a train. Mixing medium weight passenger trains with cars and light trucks has a very predictable outcome. It doesn't end well for the occupants of the cars and light trucks.

Plenty of solutions to this, e.g. different traffic lights (bus goes first). The idea itself is actually quite interesting. The natural problem will be how to stop the accidents. Will wait and see, it's great that it actually is being done and is not just someones "vision".
