So my son was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer at the age of 15 called Ewings sarcoma. They removed his shoulder completely, upper arm and replaced. He was cancer free for about a year and then relapsed with the cancer coming back aggressively in the lung pleura . Due to where it is it's only treatable with chemo and the docs are saying he'll be lucky to make it past 2 years. He's being doing the chemo for about a year and a half now and is still aiming (as we are) for remission and cancer free. The guys pretty remarkable really , zero signs of giving up in fact he's very confident he'll beat it . It's been brutal tbh but we remain strong and 100% behind him . We've recently sought alternative therapy and more on that later.

Nephew has been in & out of hospitals since he was born with Brock syndrome.
Just had his 2nd kidney transplant. Multiple heart/hand/etc… surgeries.
20 years old.

Might consider trying Ivermectin for cancer. Several doctors & patients claim it cures certain types of cancers. Might not work but a very safe drug. Ask your doctor about it of course.

Many on this site think I’m a nut with my Covid/vaccine/ivermectin view so …….. :)

That's very sad for your son, you, and your family. Your son has a positive attitude, and that might help.

A clinical trial might provide a newer, experimental treatment.

I was diagnosed with stage II-B esophageal cancer. My treatments of chemotherapy, radiation, major surgery, more chemotherapy and many intrusive tests were unpleasant, but I've survived 9 years when the prognosis was 20-25% survival 5 years after diagnosis. It's possible to beat the odds.

According to what I have read, children are very resilient. They actually have a very high survival rate from cancer treatments because they naturally have higher immunity which helps them to destroy cancer cells. And when they do recover from their childhood cancer, they actually go on and live a completely healthy life as if the cancer never happened.

Yes there's a few treatments out there that may work . I'm also learning that everybody is different and what's good and works for one person another persons body will reject it and cause stress . There's ways of testing what your body is comfortable with , we've just done some of this testing with him.

Thanks for that and helping out. We're looking for trials, there's an ozzy one coming up. I'll check that one out - make sure we didn't miss it.

It certainly is beatable. If someone's going to do this he will.

And well done , that is a ton of treatment , it must have been really tough.

I wish you many more years to come.

Yes they do and thanks for the positive words , they are very appreciated.

And I hear the body changes drastically every 7 years . It's like you have a different body , especially going into adulthood.

That too. Also at puberty, your body undergoes drastic changes. Many childhood ailments disappear with puberty. My mom had really severe asthma when she was a child so severe that she was bedridden most of the year and she was constantly getting sick but when she hit puberty, her asthma completely disappeared and she never had asthma throughout her entire life. We just celebrated her 80th birthday and she's healthier than me. LOL
