Not going to lie, this might be the funniest thing I've ever heard any Trump say in my life. The image of Eric Trump waking up his kids every morning at 4:30 to recite the "Pledge of Allegiance" is just too much. I really hope he is lying for his kids sake. I actually think it's time to get rid of the stupid pledge. One, it's very cult-like. We are forcing kids, many of whom don't even understand what they're saying, to blindly follow some doctrine. Because of what? If you want a country full of critical thinkers who can reason and work through problems, this is not the way to go. Two, it's a waste of time. The Pledge of Allegiance takes about 15 seconds. Kids go to school about 180 days per year and it's said in K-12. This is 9 hours and 45 minutes of their life wasted on something that is a complete waste of time.

More than 500 supporters gathered to celebrate the partnership of St. Jude and The Eric Trump Foundation, which recently pledged $20 million to name The Eric Trump Foundation Surgery and ICU Center in a new $198 million tower under construction on the St. Jude campus.

In 2006, Eric Trump, Executive Vice president of Development and Acquisitions at The Trump Organization, established The Eric Trump Foundation, which is dedicated to raising money for the mission of St. Jude. To date, $6 million has been raised including funds from the September 9 event.
