No,they just take the cops word for it.If there was no video of the cop who killed George Floyd he would be on patrol today,same with the cop who killed Walter Scott.Even with video cops are walking free like Eric Garners,Oscar Grants and Timir Rices killers.Even when the facts are conclusive like cops wrongfully storming Brianna Taylors apartment killing her all of the cops are free.

Chicago's Dismal Murder Solve Rate Even Worse When Victims Are Black
The data, obtained by WBEZ under Illinois' open-records law, show the city had 849 murders between the beginning of 2018 and this past July. When the victim was white, 47% of the cases were solved during those same 19 months. For Hispanics, the rate was about 33%. When the victim was African American, it was less than 22%.

BTW, Chicago has been lead by democrats for nearly 90 years straight. Chicago has a Black Mayor, Black Police Chief, predominantly Black leadership throughout the entire city. If leftist polices worked then Chicago should be a beacon of peace and prosperity for Blacks. Instead it is one of the most dangerous and deadly places for a Black man to live.
What is really amazing is that blacks who live in cities and states run by Democrats and their children being murdered by other blacks and Democrats do squat all these years. Why are they not holding all their Democrat politicians accountable? Most of them would vote for the same Democrats all over again. Double that if the politician is black? Now, when Barack Obama was elected President of the United States, overwhelming numbers of blacks supported him because of the color of his skin and nothing else.
