Nope, the actual word imminent was never used, but I think that all of the "fear-mongering and saber-rattling by the Bush Administration was clear that there was a "sense of urgency" being painted.

Do you not forget Condi Rice talking about a Mushroom Cloud in her September 8th, 2002 interview by CNN's Wolf Blitzer?

"The problem here is that there will always be some uncertainty about how quickly he can acquire nuclear weapons. But we don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud."
