Details please. Tick data or EOD. How far back? How deep? Generally, i'm wary of this "cheapest data" combination. But it all depends on what you want to do with it.

What is cheapest provider with stream for 1000-5000 stocks.

What is the max you'd like to pay?
Cause, for that many stocks, real-time, it won't be cheap.

Do you need full depth? Tradier will do around 1k streaming NBBO for free. Polygon with an Alpaca account will give you full market NBBO for free.

You don’t need to execute there, just fetch data. The data is the same as IBKR from my testing. Although I’d recommend Tradier for the lowest fee option trading anywhere.

www.iqfeed.net is under $100 though you may have to add to get as many stocks as you want.
