Guy is a fraud, I was trading AMBO today, there was a fat finger trade, it went from 5 to 2 in an instant, and got halted, he was pushing this stock in chat, during the halt he says he got out, but no screenshot or anything, funny how these guys post screenshots when they make big money.

fwiw I think Tim has a lot to offer and is one of the rare good guys in the small cap space. Ive known him for many years. Alot of bad wannabe copycats infested the industry after Tim's success.

Yeah, but I can't see past showing off the houses, watches, driving Lambos with blondes, this is done to lure in newbies thinking they are going to achieve this lifestyle.

Real traders are their own Guru's, no? I learned from the get go that if someone is claiming they are making all this money yet they are selling books and doing seminars, it's most likely bull shit. That shit just doesn't make any sense. Furthermore, people who want to learn to trade need also learn how to do their own homework and not be looking for tips and advice from their guru/neighbor guy... how to take responsibility for your own trading. I think these gullible people who are falling for this crap either are idiots who are looking for easy ways to make a buck and are too lazy to put in the work... or, as someone mentioned before, being broke and wanting to be wealthy and not knowing any better. Real traders know that trading is not easy, if it was everyone would be making a living at it. They also know why it's not easy. It's because we ourselves are our own worst enemy and there is no signal, alert, or course in the world that can remedy that. Live trading is the best teacher to how to manage consequences. Traders do not try to achieve a certain lifestyle, they make sure to fit their trading style to their current lifestyle. There would be no need to rent Lambos and blondes then....

lol, this thread can be summarized as an old school charlatan showing frustration that the new breed of younger charlatans aren't 'keeping it real'

The world has changed, 20 years ago new traders were happy to learn how to make $100K a year from trading, now they want to know how to make $100K per trade.

As a snake-oil vendor the OP needs to adapt this snake-oil vending skills to what the market is currently looking for.

Kids these days have $100K in student loan debts, their parents live in $500K or $Million+ dollar homes. Thousand dollar iphones and 100K Teslas have been normalized.

The world has higher aspirations these days.

its called de-evolution

He uploaded this video, with the title - Lamborghini Gallardo - Millionaire Day Trader Tim Sykes

The video starts off with "Lamborghini Life" ends with "It's fun to be a millionaire like Tim Sykes, Join Now!"

Talk about trying to lure in the naive.

snake oil competitiveness - but of course! Last week I was in Scott Dahlquist' Live Futures Trading chat room (there was no live trading or trade P/L shown). Did you know Scott is an Expert Renko Bar Day Trader (“expert” is self-aggrandizement and false) and he has a 6 step plan:

Your problem, Ken, is that you are running the same confidence game from 20 years ago and it is outdated compared to what the new breed of scammers are using. Stop complaining about how the kids are doing it better than you and get with the program. The fish today do not care about your claims of being an “honest educator“ or that you are an “industry expert.” They want to see big dollars moving fast in the account. You already do a lot of cherry picking, so up and down is not a problem. Just show them big numbers. You can’t charge big if you don’t show big. Jesus, you are a dinosaur.
did you call him a dinosaur - could get you banned!
