sunshine - I don't know who you are but my company is considering sponsoring a section of this board and the chat was a major reason why we liked it... I personally would donate as I do with the BMW forums I'm on because I know they cost money but from a sales & marketing point of view ET isn't as attractive without the chat.

EDIT: will - when you get it sorted let me know. CF has my AIM & email - i'll be happy to contribute to the cause.

I hope the mods & admins know that its people like you who drive away sponsors. If we choose not to advertise on ET - you will be one of the reasons why we passed.

Most of the time are 20 to 25 traders at the room, but, very smart, discipline, fulltime and part-time traders with a lot of strategy and markets knowledge. There are few chats as active as this one. Do not undermine the power of few people... as battles are won with the mind of few and the hearts of many. I hope you activate it again in a simple format like it was.
I consider the traders at this chat an elite class by themselves.
Another reason this web site is the best in what it does.

thanks Win, the gambling den is just temperary, one of us is gonna host a HTML chat with our own server so no biggie, will never cost a dime. BTW, 18 of us show up today :) , just like what Carl12 posted, people in ET chat (now Ex-ET) do offer good company, and good exchange of ideas, mutual support and friendship. People who don't appreciate chat will never get it :)

so let him bad mouth all he wants, he properly never "get it" in trading anyway.

Listen, I am glad you are acting on this, but I don't think people are going to want chat hosted on some commie server...I don't want the Chinese government spying on us Americans.

After all, I want to be able to post links of pics for your girlfriend and mother-in-law to be to be viewable...don't want the censorship of the Chinese govt in the way.

p.s. Also, must have chat log so I can copy dumbass comments from chat members and repost them at a later date and time...

LMAO ZZ, you know i can't spell :D

either chi or 1R will host at home, since they have mutliple servers anyway, will be all american as you wish :D
