Chat Problems

I get kicked out and then can't relogin sometimes, but that was a while ago. This thread got me thinking though.

We all got disconnected earlier yesterday, then I was disconnect near end of day and could not log back in. Can't even view logs to see if everyone got kicked out again.

Thx NoDoji - at home I know its either my internet or the chat - but at work you never know when the IT guys will smarten up

Still no access to Chat. Is this an ET problem or is it me?

NoD - looks like its you & I at least... I can't get in either. Tried a bunch of things on my internet explorer window too - Java just hangs up and the new window does not launch.

AIM today? i'm winstontj there too - we could do a chat room?

The server that holds the chat software was on its last legs so I had to take it down on Friday. I haven't made my mind up if I'm bringing the chat back or not. It's never been a feature that many people have used, with less that 20 people in there on most days. If I do bring it back, I will probably try some other software that at least has audio capabilities as well. However, at this point I'm inclined to just forget the chat and let the Paltalks and Hotcomms of the world handle that sort of thing.

that's too bad... this is one of the only chats that I can get in to from inside my office.

NoD & others, we could create a chat today on AIM called EliteTrader very simply - just load AIM and post your screen names.

Will be very dissapointing because its not the same trading by yourself and personally (although I've never used voice/sound) I think that chat is about as much as I can handle in addition to my job and trading.
