Charlottesville-based bank says it is the first in the country to allow Bitcoins to be bought and so

Ok but you did not name a single example what advantage a bitcoin ATM brings to the table.

You just listed unrelated information. What does that particular ATM where I can obtain or convert Bitcoin give me as a user?

Listen to this, bitcoin is a digital investment asset

People are not buying bitcoins at these ATM's instantly and spending the bitcoins somewhere else

Do you have PayPal where you live? Anyone who buys bitcoins and other crypto digital assets at PayPal can spend the bitcoin anywhere PayPal is accepted. Spend some time and think about this

If you have a PayPal credit card, you can use the bitcoin and other cryptos to spend anywhere the PayPal credit card is accepted. Think about this

Visa announced they will integrate bitcoin into their systems integration with banks in order to allow the purchase and sale of bitcoin using the Visa platform. Anyone will be able to spend their bitcoins anywhere in the world that Visa is accepted. Think about this

BlockFi is issuing a credit card. Gemini is issuing a credit card. BlockFi allows you to borrow against your crypto digital assets to purchase a house, car, or whatever you desire. Fidelity is allowing their high net worth clients who store their bitcoins at Fidelity to borrow $ using their bitcoins as collateral.

I sold $73,000 (not Canadian) worth of bitcoins at Coinbase a few weeks ago and the funds are in my bank account. There is no shortage of ways to spend the bitcoins or the value in the crypto digital asset.

Or you still want to stay ignorant? #HaveFunStayingPoor

i answered this on the first reply to you. Instant

Unrelated? Hah, dude you're the one who kept on harping bitcoin is inefficient as a payment or transfer of funds method and that it's only good for places, like Brazil #HaveFunStayingPoor

Coinbase can take many days to confirm your deposit.

Only in the jungle in Brazil. Up here in Canada it takes 2 or 3 minutes to send money for free from one person to another electronically. A cheque for any amount for free,no fees involved.

Why are there so many idiots on this site? I truly gave it a lot of chances but not one single reply pertaining to the benefits. On ignore

Why are you too stupid to understand? ATM's are instant, Coinbase and other exchanges are not.

I really should not have wasted a lot of time explaining and giving you a lot of information on cryptos, it's useless since you do not have brains. Good bye, Dumbhead and #HaveFunStayingPoor

Poor choice as payment method.

I have found this little piece of info, Elon should be so proud:

"One bitcoin transaction releases 272 kilograms of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The average American household uses 30 kWh/Day. The price of a single bitcoin transaction 650 kwh."

Don't need to convince rational people. The problem with diehards is that they can't see reality. In the same way they can't explain the advantages of such ATMs they can't comprehend the environmental damage hashing and mining causes. All they care about is some way to do something anonymous because they believe they are extremely important and deserve shielding from bank and government supervision. Or, a lot of them are underperforming in general in life and can't find their place. They pick up on anything esoteric because that thing has not let them down (yet) in an attempt to punish the existing material world, as if a bank cares whether a few make crypto payments. True be told, virtually all payment needs have been well thought out and covered and are not too pricy.
