I agree. However, currently I believe Charles Schwab within the European Economic Area (EEA) only accepts new accounts from residents of Germany, UK, Spain and Switzerland. Hopefully that will change.
 
ETrade Financial shares dropped 4.5% as many expected the broker to be the first acquisition target

So how long before Fidelity gobbles them up

The problem with ETFC is small assets. Big boys won't care about them.
 
Does anyone have experience with trading futures and futures options at Schwab?

I am just wondering how much Schwab will ruin the ethos of thinkorswim.
Any suggestions for trading futures and futures options if the thinkorswim part of TDA goes downhill because of this takeover? Thanks.
