Chappie's Smarty Jones and a lesson in success

Traders looking to make instant millions should instead heed lessons from businessman Roy Chapman, the owner of Preakness winner, Smarty Jones.

1946 age 20 he began as a salesman selling cars.

1975 age 49 Roy became part-owner of a car dealership.

2004 age 78 he owns 8 dealerships, is a mulit-millionaire, and just won a $5 million prize in horse racing.

Mr. Chapman's success occurred gradually over a period of decades. Traders shouldn't try to make millions instantly.... you're more likely to go bust trying. I learned this lesson the hard way.

The problem is, most traders want the millions a tad before they have to spend it from the confines of a wheelchair.

But you are correct, slow and steady wins the race, except in the case of the horse ,where it's fast and steady.

LOL:p . Actually, in the "problem attitude" department, I'm like most traders. You know the saying of do as I say, not as I do.
