While the cogenital racist is out collecting token blacks to show that he is not a racist, he messed with the wrong guy just because he said blacks don't have to be Dems, Trump overplayed his hand and got fucked in his orange mouth.
Chance the Rapper, who publicly supported Kanye West‘s statements expressing support for President Donald Trump on Twitter, has pulled back on his positive comments after Trump shouted him out in a tweet.
“My attempt to support Kanye is being used to discredit my brothers and sisters in the movement and I can’t sit by and let that happen,” Chance said.
Here’s the quick recap: Kanye went on a tweet storm Wednesday talking about everything from managers to lawyers to “dragon energy”; during this, he notably said that “the mob can’t make [him] not love” the president:
Meanwhile, due to this defense, Chance was lumped in by the president as part of a great movement where “eyes are being opened for the first time in Decades [sic]”:
That’s when Chance decided to write a mea culpa, rejecting the president’s praise.
“I’d never support anyone who has made a career out of hatred, racism, and discrimination,” he said. “I’d never support someone who’d talk about Chicago as if it’s hell on earth [sic] and then take steps to make life harder here for the most disenfranchised among us.”
“Let me make up for my poorly timed comments with immediate action and advocacy for those who need it most,” he added.
He also explained that his statement about “not all blacks [having] to be Democrats” stemmed from his frustration with Democratic political figures in Chicago being unable to effect lasting reform in the city.
“But again, said that shit at the wrongest time,” he admitted.
“It’s not my job to protect [Kanye],” he concluded. “It’s my job to pick up the phone and talk to him.”
