Its very common to hear lots of people saying forex is risky, forex takes a long time to master, forex is a rigged market. But they never go into detail.

It also makes me uncomfortable when the same people say that forex trading involves buying and selling currency. Oh really.....

The long run is all that counts.

I generally post to new traders who want to be professional traders is, if they start with only £1000, it will take 7-8 years. This assumes they have an alternative form of income in the meantime and a consistently profitable strategy from Day 1. They generally don't reply and are never seen again.

Therefore, if you plan to enter the forex market, commit yourself. Take small risks. learn first, and the rest will follow.
