Challenge of Weekly Profit trading Futures

Busy morning. Grabbed a few NQ trades and then had time to scalp some spreads but they were taking too long and I bailed.

By the way that 1 trade in the midde for $25 was me putting the order to close my last contract of the previous trade and fat fingered into another short I quickly covered but thankfully was positive. Removing it from total below.

NQ Net gain: $670

Spreads Net gain: $269.24

Today Net : +914.24

Busy rest of the day so forcing myself to stop here.
 
Calling it a day, 700$ profit before commission.
Missed 1 trade earlier today which would have given me another 200$.

I had no time today to sit behind the desk all day so these trades are trades generated by my semi automated system, tomorrow i will also be trading manually.

I had no idea why on earth i was trading ES when there is much more success rate based on my strategy on NQ, after you making so much i took a look and ohhh my my thats an awesome product to trade
 
Just my personal preference for NQ and the points I can find in there. Sometimes wathcing the ES hover at .25/.50 and move 2 ticks while NQ runs 2-3 points. But again my personal prefernce. VOlume and liquidity makes it easy to get filled quickly. I would suggest looking at the charts going back 30 days on the time frame you are using and see if it reacts the same way as your signals for ES and NQ entries.

That's exactly what im doing back-testing my strategy.. lets see if it works great this week.

Net for today -$60

First two trades were bad (not just because of losses but because they were not well times entries) but because I was not feeling it 100% I only did 1 contract each. Better would have been to avoid all together.

3rd trade I missed the entry by 1 point or so which is within my margin and was a nice scalp but because of the two losses I kept it small as well so for 2 out of 3 mistakes I will take that small net loss.

I had a really nice overnight option play to make a profit for today so I am less inclined to do much futures today, especially after this start ha ha.
