CFDs are not allowed in the U.S.

They are allowed for professional traders in the US eg archegos $80 billion blowup was CFD/total return swaps.

CFDs are banned for US Citizens and Residents (i.e. Greed Card Holders) in US, same as if you can't open a forex account in local banks. I put up 10% margin for WTI futures with IBKR while an old buddy put up 3% margin with a HK/Singapore oil broker.

I thought of giving it a try but got to know that it offers low leverage. Is that true?
