CFD DMA Prop Firm or Broker

Hello traders,

I have been searching far and wide only to ask in desperation.

I love IB but don't have 25k for US accounts. I already trade Asian Markets.

Are there any Prop firms connected with INTERACTIVE BROKERS that proivde CFD prop firm service??????

wow can't find anything. :(

In addition would you guys recommend any prop firms that are equity based as well, but i would most likely prefer cfd./

iv'e looked at colmex, Ig, eml. and honestly they are crap and mostly MM shady crap.

would be great if you guys helped.

I don't understand what exactly you are looking for.
so, you want to trade CFDs on equities? asian equities - that is japanese/australian? or us/uk/de?

why don't you just take IB? you don't need 25K, that is the pattern day trader rule for trading stocks. CFDs are exempt from that rule.
you just need the normal 10K to open your account.
works only if you're not US resident as far as I know.

if you could explain what you're looking for and why IB won't make it, we'll be able to help more.
 
what!!!! are you serious .. I'm 100% sure you still need 25k to trade even with cfds in US. I asked them this and they confirmed I must.

Yes I wanna trade US stocks.
 
With IB you will not always need 10K, just look for an introducing broker (an IB for IB) like meintradeDOTcom or captrader or lynx). They `ll allow you to start with 2500 - 4000!
 
I'm serious. I'm trading CFDs with IB on US equities, Stock Indices,... and I funded my account only with 10K. But I'm German (resident), don't know if other rules apply to you. I heard that US residents can't even trade with CFDs, but it's just what I read on the forum.

The 25K has nothing to do with CFDs, it's a daytrading requirement for stocks only.

And as Hittfeld pointed out, there are also introducing brokers (lynx,...) that will open an account for you for just a few thousands. But their charges are higher, so if you have 10K, go to IB directly.

I'm looking at moving my CFD account over to IB from IG, to take advantage of the lower commissions.

I was wondering how their CFD markets trade compared to the actual underline? Eg if your trading liquid markets like aapl,fb etc. What are the fills/ slippage like? At the moment I trade a DMA model that trades 1-1 with the underline.

Ive read comments on here from people complaining about orders not being executed correctly. Has this been an issue for you?

I trade almost everything at IB now. Yes, the fees for US stocks are a lot lower (0.5 ct per share, better than all other CFD brokers).

Execution is flawless, never had any issue. It's also a DMA and I get exactly the same quotes and fills as if I traded the stock directly.
I believe that I can even see the order for a "AAPL CFD" in the official AAPL order book (but not sure, I checked this a long time ago). So really, CFD/STOCK are 1:1

I'm absolutely satisfied with IB, never had any (real) problems, and I'm using IB heavily since two years already! It's the best broker I've had until know, and I've had many.

But what I like most is that I can use Sierra Chart and have a really professional charting (and trading) software now.

You mean 0.0050 per share right? Do you day trade US equities?

What sort of intra-day margin requirements have they set for the likes of AAPL, FB, TSLA. 1.25 x 10% ? And what type of account did you setup in order to trade CFD's

I use Sierra chart aswell, not sure if i'll be using them to execute trades though, might execute directly off TWS.
