I also watched a report on TV tonight about the fact that the N95 is the only mask that works against Delta and Omicron. We small people could not use this mask at first because they limited them to health care personnel which makes me wonder. If the cloth masks do not work with Delta and Omicron, is this why more people are getting Covid-19?

But here is the good news: "While the number of new cases has skyrocketed, the risk of winding up in the intensive care unit or dying from the Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19, is 83% less compared to the Delta strain, according to a new study".


In addition, the risk of hospitalization or death for an Omicron infection is 65% less than Delta, the Canadian study found.

Always had N95 masks and it made no difference. Caught the original virus, the UK variant, two shots of Moderna and now the runny nose Omicron. Quercetin, Zinc and vitamin D3 helps.

From what I can tell, a lot of these masks have little holes in them where the virus can still sneak in. :(
