No one is saying they aren't.

But people are responsible for protecting their own health - as it has always been. You don't keep children from education and going to school (as an example), because people are old, obese, diabetic and have high blood pressure and are afraid of getting sick(er).

Sorry, Piezoe. I understand that you're part of The Religion, but I don't need to wait for a politically aligned "scientist" to tell me that it is safe to do something I am already sure is safe. It was also quite obvious to anyone not in The Religion that this was true way back when Italy released data early on in the Covid game. The average age was 81-82 and had three to four comorbidities. Only fools like yourself didn't believe this.

My rights to get vaccinated, or not to, having nothing to do with your decision to. If you're protected, you shouldn't care if I am. The fact that you've insisted I get vaccinated is a testament how much bullshit it is when you claim to be a libertarian.​

Some parents are old, obese, diabetic, or have high blood pressure, how do we lower the odds they get covid (until a vaccine is available) from their own kids who get it from other kids?

Like we always did with parents that were highly susceptible to swine flu or other issues because they were of poor health - either they took precautions in their home, or home schooled, etc. But what we didn't do is take the vast preponderance of all the healthy children and lock them up, too.

I wish you a full blown case of Covid, any of the variants will do. I don't want you to die, but rather just appreciate how really sick and miserable it is possible to feel without actually dying. Then you'll be a great advocate for modern science, and we won't have to hear anymore of this crap from you.
