Doctors without borders is said to have better techniques for protecting their doctors than anybody else but one got Ebola anyhow. That disease does not spread exactly the way we're being told for one thing. For another the particle count to infect is just 1-10. Some people are going to get just one particle of virus in their system and get the disease... so it's very hard to protect against. If it hits the gay male community it will spread like crazy but it won't have the built-in mercy of AIDS, it will just kill them all... I can't see Democrats talking their way out of that one LOL I'm reminded of what Michael Jackson's doctor did when he realized Jackson had died on his watch: he ran out of the house screaming! The Democrats will be doing an impersonation of that LOL

The nurse who was angrily battling her enforced quarantine at a New Jersey hospital after treating Ebola patients was released today.
Kaci Hickox tested negative for the lethal virus after she returned to the United States from Sierra Leone and has been outspoken about being held in quarantine since her arrival at Newark International Airport Friday.
The release was announced this morning after Hickox hired a lawyer known for taking human rights cases and they announced their plan to file a federal lawsuit against her mandatory 21-day quarantine.
Some call her a hero. Really? Here's what I know about a hero. A hero doesn't expect preferential treatment for doing a job that they volunteered to do. A hero thinks of others before they think of themselves. If you can afford to go to Africa for a month to volunteer your time...I'm pretty sure you can VOLUNTEER to be quarantined here for 3 weeks to make sure you don't spread Ebola in the US. If not, then don't go.
I think the nurse is (not) objecting to quarantine, this nurse object to her quarantine in (a tent). To compare look. The doctors who are quarantine go to their home or the hospital for the quarantine. The doctor's girlfriend or the wife can go (home) to quarantine. They are not in the tent.

If I wish to import a horse into the United States from Liberia or any African country other than Morocco, the horse needs to undergo a 60 day quarantine period at a USDA approved quarantine facility prior to mingling with the general population of horses in this country. Africa has a disease called African Horse Sickness that does not exist in the US; this is the way we have kept it out of this country. African Horse Sickness does not cause disease in people, only horses; our government has determined that it would be devastating to the US horse industry if it were to come here.
The United States (and virtually all other countries) require a myriad of tests and often quarantine prior to bringing in a foreign animal.
I can’t legally cross state lines in the United States with a horse or cow without a health certificate signed by a USDA accredited veterinarian stating that the animal has been inspected and found free of infectious disease. In most cases blood tests are also required. In fact I can’t legally cross the Snake River and ride my horse in Idaho without a health certificate and a negative blood test for Equine Infectious Anemia.
I’m not complaining; the United States of America, the States of Idaho and Washington as well as the other 48 states take the health of our livestock very seriously, and we have a very good record at keeping foreign animal diseases out of our country. I am happy to do my part to maintain biosecurity in our animal population.
If I am a resident of Liberia incubating Ebola, to enter the United States all I need to do is present a valid visa, and lie when asked if I have been exposed to Ebola. Within hours (no quarantine required) I can be walking the streets of any city in the United States.
I feel very fortunate to live in a country that values our animals so highly.
