CCI today...rocky road..!

Anyone trading CCI today? Friday,,Jan. 18th?

I had to cut it lose for a stop loss. Debating whether to jump back in and try and recoup some of the loss.
 
Yeah, nice of them to announce a share buy back and give guidance as the market is opening. I was short 4,000 shares for that whole ride. By the time I knew what the heck was going on it was looking toppy so I held on and got out ok. Earnings season landmines, they can hurt.
 
I hope you held off to the bottom of around 35.12 before you covered the short position.

I had bought at 36.95 and had to cut out at 36.30.

Looks like it might get over 36.30 though before close.

I can never guess which stocks will stay hot for the day and which will go bust!
