CBOT down?

Wouldn't a pit trade be far more expensive that an electronic trade? Why not just hedge on the ES? It may not be one to one, but close enough.

That's a good option too. It shouldn't be 'far more expensive' than the electronic trade, when you consider you're getting twice the bang for the buck with $10 Dow.

If you've got an odd lot position in mini Dow, then hedging with ES is probably the way to go.

if you're with ECBOT, i'd just like to take this opportunity to say your exchange really sucks

my comment to anyone new to trading it would be 'watch out'

What's that about the YM being far superior to ES for intraday trading? You'll find that drivel scattered about this forum in various threads.

No problem with quotes here in ES at all, as usual. Just another day of seamless execution on the CME side

outside of realiabilty, it can be

but you have to be QUICK on hedging for when it goes down, because they start moving things around fast whenever it does down, just to jack up anyone caught in it

ECBOT deserves HUGE black eye, this happening AGAIN so soon

Piece of sh-t

Just for the record, I'm a broker at Global Futures. I don't have any input with the exchange.

I hope everyone is able to get out of this relatively unscathed.
