There are always people willing to take your money--both in the pit and electronically. It's hardly fair to say that "THEY" (whoever they are) are taking advantage of electronic markets any more than they're taking advantage of pit markets.

Electronic trading is the ultimate leveler. I don't need to be "in" with the Merrill guy to get a fill. I don't need to buy 1000 contracts to get a good price. I don't need to wait for quotes from the pit if I want in or out *now*.

Besides, the pit isn't really a paragon of virtue. "Operation Sourmash" and "Operation Hedgeclipper", for example.

I'll ask the question I asked of triggertrader--what is the fix that CBOT could implement tomorrow and make you happy?
 
The CBOT could have "adjusted" the tape so that the daily low price for the pit-bond was the same as the screen-bond. Gosh, then this thread never would have happened.

"oh but there is nothing wrong with the electronic markets" they say. "the best thing since sliced bread!" "its not the electronic markets it's your fault" the best thing since shit!!! They are are both dopes and maybe they are employees for the CBOT the way they are hawking their shit.
The electronic markets are a total mess. I am going to contact the cbot on your behalf and tell them about the problems i have had as well.
If you're still following this post ignore these clowns. This post was excellent and absolutely true. and sorry about your terrible experience. Don't let the bastards get away with it. Complain to them like hell and throw shit on them for it

Stop losses on ECBOT are suicidal by nature after normal market hours. Haven't you heard about the gold traders getting raped by using stops in thinly traded sessions?
