This situation seems very complex to me. From watching the video and the context in which we are in of police that seem more militant than partners in community policing, it would be easy to jump to conclusions.
Let the facts come out. Here are my facts:
1) You charge a police officer, you are risking your life.
2) We should try to make the policeman's life as easy as possible. They are there because someone called them to do their job, and if their job calls for force, the situation is already broken and mistakes will be made by both sides.
3) There should probably be high school education on how to handle yourself in a police confrontation. At least, parents should educate their children.
4) The police, imo, has become too militarized. They should be partners in safety and preferably only enforcers as a last result. There is a big difference between war and police, and some of those guys never made the transition
