Saw the "plasma ball" toys at Walmart and was reminded of something my AC repair guy once said his wife used to stop miragines.
He said she used a "plasma ball" [which generates some sort of static electricity] and if she felt a migraine coming on, she would just sit for several minutes with her hands on the thing and it would make her headache go away, or at least not develop. They only cost $30-40, might be worth a try. Seems to me he said she had to catch it early on in the headache.
