Took a lunch money bet, lets see what happens. 47.57 dollars going long the 25 weekly put for MSFT. It expires this week. (10 contracts)

Lets see what happens when Baldmer opens his mouth. Will he spook investors and break 25 and I win

or I end up losing 47.57 worth of casino trade but hey its tax deductible :)

Reports Q4 (Jun) earnings of $0.69 per share, $0.11 better than the Capital IQ Consensus Estimate of $0.58; revenues rose 8.3% year/year to $17.37 bln vs the $17.2 bln consensus. Microsoft reaffirms fiscal 2012 operating expense guidance of 3% to 5% growth from 2011, or $28.0 billion to $28.6 billion. Microsoft Business Division revenue for the fourth quarter grew 7% and 16% for the full year. Server & Tools revenue grew 12% for the fourth quarter, the fifth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth, and grew 11% for the full year. Windows and Windows Live Division revenue declined 1% for the fourth quarter and revenue for the full year decreased 2%. Excluding the impact of the prior year Windows 7 launch and revenue deferral, we estimate full-year revenue growth was in line with PC market growth of 2% to 4%. "Throughout fiscal 2011, we delivered to market a strong lineup of products and services which translated into double-digit revenue growth, and operating margin expansion... Our platform and cloud investments position us for long-term growth."
 
I was tempted to speculate on upside but when I saw his thread, I remembered his past performance and decided to step aside. KofS screwed up on this one.

what I find strange is the market reaction: pulled to 26.60 area, then up more than a dollar, and then came back to 27.

Something does not add up. Shouldn't those numbers make MSFT go much higher?
