Is she guilty? Likely, in one way or another, but I still believe in the american way of innocent until proven guilty. There have been many many times when someone was put away for things like murder and rape even when there was eyewitnesses and then 15 years later, they get cleared when the DNA comes back.

Yes, agreed. And pspr is right. She won't get the death penalty. I DO believe she will go to prison over this. How long? Who knows. The case against her though is stronger than her throwing her dad under the bus, and him "finding" the little girl in the pool drown. Did her dad molest her? We'll never know. I actually don't want to know! Eww! Whether he did or not, the "pieces of the puzzle" on her end just don't fit what her attorney claims on her behalf.

She pondered "how do I get rid of my child (a "ball and chain" for her), as she partied like crazy before her child died, during the time she was missing, and after found. She searched "how to smother someone, how to make chloroform, how to hide a body," and even borrowed a shovel during this time from a neighbor she never borrowed anything from before. Hmmm... Doesn't look good for her! Sad case none the less.

One thing I don't understand is why did her Dad go to the towing yard after the car was towed, and bring gas cans with him?

In addition, as a former Police Officer myself, and if my daughter and grand daughter hadn't been seen, had I opened the car door, smelled what seemed to be the odor of a corpse, I would have ran like a wild man, falling down in the gravel to open that trunk! Instead, he "fiddled" around in the car trying to figure out why it wouldn't start WHILE the smell of a corpse was in the car? Hmmm....

I'm having a tough time with that one. And that doesn't come from the defense team. It came from the towing yard manager who was there with the Dad as he has to escort people into the tow yard, and stay with them while they're there.

Again, if I had a daughter and grand daughter who were not seen in some time, the car was found towed, and if I smelled the smell of a corpse after opening the car door, I would have been opening that trunk in a New York minute! Trying to start the car would NOT have been the first thing I did with the smell of a corpse present... Something isn't stirring the cool aid.

Even worse, he drives the car home with the smell of death in it, + a daughter and grand daughter he hasn't heard from in three weeks, and he doesn't call the Police Department being a former Detective? Hmmmm...

I really wonder if he and his daughter conspired to conceal the little girl's "accidental death," and fell out along the way due to the heat/pressure?

Certainly a tough case for a jury, no question.
