Caruso-Cabrera gives AOC a little spanking

at the 45:25 mark in the video. probably in other places too, I just did a lightening quick scan. Lots of entertainment value there.

That being said, these lefty cockroaches are hard to get out of office once they get in, so I definitely do not assume that AOC and Omar, for example, will be defeated regardless of how nutty they get.

Just as a little reminder, that congressional district in the Bronx is solidly democrat so the winner of the primary will be the winner of the general election. And the primary election is next month so AOC's fate will be known then and you won't have to wait until November to know. Nobody in their right mind would re-elect her, but, as I just said, her district is all dems so that probably means she will win by a landslide. The dems are all loons as we know.

She got in on low to non-existent turnout. I imagine the turnout will be rather higher in her district since she killed their Amazon deal.

I hear ya.

Turnout was low. On the other hand she has generated a cult following and will bring some people to the polls- mostly riff raff.

But then again there is the amazon thing as you said, and some thinking people might wonder why their congressional rep seems to just be staffer or spokesmodel for Bernie, as if there is no local work to be done in the district because everything is groovy.

I dont have a prediction- only to repeat that if she is re-elected I will be surprised. When you have lived long enough to see Hank "Guam is going to tip over" Johnson and Maxine Waters re-elected time after time, you sort of lose faith that all these elections are determined by what should happen.

She is an idiot though. Holy Mackerel.

Cabrera is a solid candidate though. Usually these clowns cannot be removed because they dont have much in the way of opposition but Cabrera has a background that requires knowledge and is presentable and she is not just some "the rent is too damn high" type of local yokal.
