Cars

Quote from syswizard:

Don't even think about racing a Tesla on a straight track.
I saw a race between it and a new porsche and it blew that Porsche away. The torque is nothing short of phenomenal.

don't make me laugh. the only way a Tesla beats a 911 Turbo or anything comparable is on a very short track where the cars can only get up to 120 mph. after 20 seconds from a standing start, the Telsa would be a faint dot in the rearview mirror of the other cars. oh hell, even a Camry V6 would beat a Tesla on a 4-mile straightaway.

My wife has a Honda Accord coupe, and we were filling up at the local Costco, and the attendant tells us he has one too. He then tells me he put a supercharger in it and is cranking some absurd horsepower. I laughed, but the wife started quizzing him on where he got it and who installed it. I told her NO, don't even think about it.
Nice thread, more pictures. Not as good as RCG or the cycle threads, but 3rd is okay.:D

Those wheels on that Porsche...ughhh....wow, they look "cheap"...and what's up with the ugly stripe down the middle ?

This is unique very rare, very old race car, build 1964.

Of course they look cheap, because they are old.

But the Porsche Carrera, costs over one million Euro.

Its one of the few classic old race cars, you can still purchase.

Its a car only for sunny sunday afternoons.

The same for the Mercedez oldtimer.

This is true art of automobile architecture.

No pimped cars, just original cars.......

I love oldtimer cars.

They are like an investment in real goods. You can not only invest in real estate, you can also invest in old rare cars. The value of the car will not go cheaper.....

They need of course a lot of care.

Its only for the true enthusiast.
