Career In Prop Trading

Hi, I would like to be a professional trader working for trading firms, or banks. Problem is, I have no idea how to even start on this career path.

My current plan is to come up with a list of prop trading firms and contact them individually seeking employment, Yet i feel there are better ways I haven't thought of.

any prop traders or bank traders here that can give some directions?

Wat are some firms that are hiring right now?

Background about me: I have a undergraduate degree in business Administration, and trades forex on the side.
 
Your best bet is to expand your forex trading and do it yourself. This is the age of individual self-empowerment.

Do you know what it takes to become a professional trader? Can you not making money for 6 months or even a year and stay in the game?
