You and your friends keep on saying that they are not interested in convincing us, but hey, why are some of you then bitching about anyone who criticizes TA as if there is no tomorrow?

Maybe so that the OP's or newer traders are not mislead by people such as you.

I am laughing, so, why don't you find 2-3 setups that you find "rock-solid" in terms of TA assisting you to get into trades, post them here right now, and we shall see how they will perform. Use whatever TA technique you choose to use and post a few setups. You would instantaneously shut up all the naysayers.

Don't shown or explain anything because that is the strategy of the bashers: steal you knowledge by first offending you till you are mad enough to give them what they want. That's why they say continuously: show us what works.

Naysayers will never shut up, they will continue to gather as much knowledge as possible by offending you. Loser David Goodboy is a perfect sample of that, he blew up a fund and never made any money in any trading at all. He is specialized in drycleaning shops.

Dabbling in TA is a secret vice for many of them. They can't help themselves. It's like Jeff Epstein's, Bill Clinton's, Prince Andrew's unmentionable proclivity.

I stayed way too long, I honestly prefer arguing around facts, it is indeed sad that in 22 pages TA is still not properly defined. TA is not my forte, but if anyone asked me about my trained discipipline and approach to trading, Quant trading, I am pretty sure I could define concepts and terminology pretty well. In fact without proper definitions it's close to impossible to talk about anything really.

I hope nobody got personally offended by my comments, if, then my sincere apologies. I get passionate about things I deeply believe in and that gets me at times go overboard.

I found what works for me, TA is something I don't believe in, but if it works for others, awesome. Peace.

Thanks for confirming, I was open to consider alternatives but seems the same snake oil from the 90s is still paddled today. Well, if it works for you, then go for it, I doubt it, but only you know. No need to reply.

It's not all about indicators although I do use them in trading.

Mate, you gotta drop your hate tirades. Nobody derailed any thread, nobody is attacking technical analysis in more than a small part of posts. Everyone refers their posts to the occupation as technical analyst. So, calm down and practice your black Magic and be happy but stop attacking everyone else who does not believe in it.
