Card to support 4 monitors

1 of the monitors?

EDIT: Try searching by zip code, and see if there are any locally too. Oh, and if they do have them, pay cash and maybe they can't track it. They might not have the limit on 1 per customer through the stores though.

If worst comes to worst, newegg has that model too, for $240 plus $7.59 shipping, if you had to buy the last one or something to have a matching set:

Remember, newegg has no tax, so it's not quite as expensive as it seems at $240 plus $7.59 shipping. Mine is estimating the tax at $15 from Best Buy. So about 32.59 a monitor extra from newegg. Newegg has no limits on how many you can order of these by the way. Looks like they were just on sale for $200 on newegg... must have been one of the before christmas sales.

Thanks for the advice. So TV is better than monitor? what about a monitor that has a TV tuner?

These days, with digital TV, monitor and TV are one of the same. These days, TV is a monitor + built-in speakers + TV tuner and some adapter circuitry to receive coaxial cable signals, plus some remote control stuff.

I think you should shop for a monitor as a computer monitor, not based on whether it can be used as a TV. You don't plan to turn all 4 27" screen into TV and watch 4 different programming on them simultaneously, do you?

You can always get some receivers/adapters to receive off-the-air digital TV signals and convert that into HDMI format.

VESA? or no holes to mount?

Don't know... moot anyway. Apparently had 3,000 for sale and now all gone. Almost every monitor has VESA mount holes... except those oddball Samsung things you bought. :D

You might check Dell's website for the model if you're interested in them for $249.

Picture of the back doesn't show mount holes, though maybe it has them hidden somehow. :D

Actually, no it doesn't have them, but there is a way to make it mount apparently:

Found a post about that thing here: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/383535-33-vesa-mount-dell-st2420l

I'd never mess with such a contraption myself. Get a decent monitor with VESA is my recommendation. But those monitors are cheap... very cheap.
