Capt. J Kittinger ... balls of steel

I watched a video in a bar ( don't know the name ) where the guy had to remain under 20 meters high for 1 kilometer or something. The slope was just like 30°. He looked like a rocket , flying almost horizontally. Insane.

At the speed they are going, if they touch the ground, they not only die, they are almost vaporized.
 
wingsuits in transformers. these guys are excellent at what they do.

Those guys that do that stuff are awesome folk!! I'm waiting until I get diagnosed with something terminal then I'll get a custom chopped Harley, try some skydiving, etc... but until then, it's just "not me" LOL
 
Watch the stunt about 7 seconds into this clip. Bike stunts are getting amazing today with these lightweight machines and insanely skilled riders with guts.

Yeah I've seen this before, pretty ballsy alright.
You can search for some of the rocket sled research being done about the same time if you want to see some similar ballsy test pilot stuff.

A custom chopped Harley, why? Geez buy something that will at least set your pants on fire, and not just sound like an old guy with digestive problems, burp..fart..burp..fart...etc. By a race Ninja 14, or a Huybusa, CBR 1000, or better yet a Buell race bike, and open the accelerator.

I had no idea tests were done on decelerating at those speeds. To go from over 600mph to a complete stop in a second has to be an experience not too many would sign up for.That was some footage. Thanks for posting it Lucrum.
That is serious guts of steel.
