Hey cmom people, as she stated she is a FEMALE-BLACK-CONGRESSWOMAN, and also a democrat, and therefore above any law.
it surprised me that she played the race card.
apparently, only white males are required to go through security screening according to mckinney
this reminds me of an incident in seattle during the WTO
a councilmember was trying to gain access to a secure building, but did not have his Pass with him (iow, HIS mistake)
so , he tried to give the security a BUSINESS card (which takes about $20 at Fedex kinko's to make as proof. the security cop said no.
he made a big fuss, claimed he was being discriminated against because he was black.
nope. he was being discriminated against because he didn't have a pass.
then, mayor "paul i am not a wuss schell" jumped in and said that was silly because lots of other "african americans" from various countries were getting in no problem when they SHOWED THEIR PASSES.
which made oh so PC schell look like an idiot because a WTO delegate from Senegal etc. is not "african american", they are AFRICAN. they are black, but they are not african american ... duh

I disagree with her lawyer. This is not a case of "being a member of congress while black."
It's pretty obvious to me she forgot to wear her tinfoil hat and was disoriented by the powerful Rovian mind control rays, being so close to the White House.

The Governor of Mississipi said he did not need any federal help. In fact there were media photo ops with the president stating how amazed he was that everything was brought back to normal in mississipi.
When you say that you did not know the levees would fail that is one thing. But when it turns out that you were sitting on a task force a week before the hurricane and were explicitly told the levees would fail. Then go on national TV and say you never knew. Now that is another thing.
This was a nice ploy by the neo-commies to get the blacks out of neworleans. The city will now be turned into a corporate owned oil hub . The new citizens of new orleans will elect the usual corrupt and criminal republicon corporate peon instead of their usual corrupt democractic socialist.

The only solution is to vote them out of office every time. One term only. Vote for a Republican. Then vote for the Democrat the next term. Keep on alternating. That way you do not get these drunk with power fools like this one and worse ones like Tom Delay who sells the peoples interest to the highest bidder.
