Can't open trading account for single member LLC (foreign)

Are they asking for your own SS#? i am trying to figure out what is missing in the LLC info you provided.

No never asked for an SS but i will look into this ITIN and call them back for clarification. They just told me the member has to be a resident of the United States.

Then why not use IB. If the others don't want your business then move on.
I would but not many players in that otc market segment. IB has a per share commission which is brutal for pennystocks. I'll try a few more in the EURO zone if it doesn't work out.

I started a single member LLC in the US, got a an EIN From the IRS but E-trade and TDA refused to open an account saying the member has to be US resident. (I Have a US mailing address through the registered agent).

Anyone had success with this as a foreign resident? Perhaps an other type of company?

LLC is a pass-through entity so if the broker requires US citizenship, it is the LLC GP that will be considered

Yes I mailed in the forms. Few weeks later they mailed their reply saying they can't open an account at this time. I phoned them and the rep told me the reason.
Was there anything in the form that indicated that you are non US resident?
